The Sri Lanka – China Business Council, established on April 26, 2001, is a business council under the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. Its primary focus is to foster trade, investment, services, and tourism between Sri Lanka and China.
The Council aims to promote and enhance opportunities for trade, investment, services, and tourism between Sri Lanka and China while serving as a platform for businesses to establish and strengthen bilateral partnerships.
The Council was formed at the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reflecting its commitment to enhancing economic ties between the two countries.
